Today Republic of Armenia Prime Minister Andranik Margaryan has received outgoing Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Armenia Hadir Saparliyev.
The Prime Minister has expressed appreciation to the Ambassador for the fruitful cooperation maintained during his term in office that helped promote the existing ties of friendship between the two countries.
During the meeting, Andranik Margaryan emphasized the interest of the Armenian side in the stimulation of trade and economic cooperation with Turkmenistan and, in this context, mentioned the importance of renewed activities of the Armenian-Turkmen intergovernmental commission. Ambassador Hadir Saparliyev thanked the head of GoA for the assistance received throughout his term in office and said that he had enjoyed such support during his contacts with all corresponding high-ranking officials in Armenia. He said to be pleased with the current status of the Armenian-Turkmen mutually advantageous cooperation within the international structures.
At the end of the meeting, the Prime Minister wished the outgoing ambassador every success in his future activities and expressed confidence that the incoming ambassador, too, would endeavor towards the furtherance of bilateral relationship between our two countries.
