Today RA Prime Minister Andranik Margaryan has received the delegation headed by German Foreign Affairs Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier.
Appreciative of the recent activation of the political dialog between the two countries, the Prime Minister noted that it was largely promoted by intensified high-level contacts. Mr. Margaryan said to be confident that this visit of the German Foreign Minister would help develop both bilateral cooperation and the interaction in the frameworks of the European Neighborhood Policy (ENP). According to the Prime Minister, in its capacity of acting EU chair and major European donor country, Germany might take an important share in the implementation of EU-Armenia Action Plan which was approved in November, 2006. He welcomed the ENP-induced increased involvement of the European Union in the neighboring eastern and post-Soviet countries, especially in terms of strengthening economic and trade exchanges.
