On the occasion of the International Women's Day, Republic of Armenia Prime Minister Andranik Margaryan received a group of public figures - women who have excelled in the sphere of culture and in other areas, as well as the wives of outstanding critics who for active public work were awarded Prime Minister's commemorative medals, letters of appreciation and material incentives. Commemorative medals were handed in to Vardoui Varderesyan, Teresa Mirzoyan, Clara Terzyan. Letters of appreciation and material incentives were given to Astghik Sahakyan (Zohrabyan), Meri Keshishyan, Julietta Kalantaryan (Ter-Mekerthcyan), Aghavni Koshkaryan (Khostikyan), Marianna Makichyan, Alina Khachatryan, Nubar Karapetyan, Ivette Aznavuryan, Lousineh Kirakosyan, Arpenik Manaryan.
Handing in the awards, the Prime Minister wished robust health, infinite love and happiness to these outstanding women, as well as all women of our Republic. Andranik Margaryan noted that in addition to women with great achievements in different fields, there are many others who day by day share in the problems facing their husbands - outstanding public and cultural figures -promoting thereby their enhanced social standing. In the opinion of the Prime Minister, they likewise deserved public and social appreciation.
The commended women thanked the Prime Minister and the Government of Armenia for kind treatment and thoughtfulness for women's problems.
