Today RA government commission on coordination of charitable programs has met, presided at by commission chairman S. Ter-Simonyan.
The commission has reviewed 10 charitable programs. In particular, approved were: Hayastan All-Armenian Fund-supported programs referred to as "Refurbishment of Sanitary Units in Yerevan's Genocide Museum," "Support of Water Supply System Upgrades in Vank Village of NKR," "Preparation of Materials for Board of Trustees Annual Meeting," "Construction of Sailing Sports Center on Lake Sevan." Also, approved was an "Armenian Karitas" benevolent union-implemented program entitled "Completion of Unfinished Gym Hall and Sanitary Units in Krashen Village School of Shirak Marz of Armenia."
The Armenian Refugees' Living Conditions Improvement Program, carried out by the Armenia branch of the Norwegian Council of Refugees, will provide housing to 70 households (exclusive of Yerevan) currently residing in temporary shelters.
The meeting has further discussed and approved the "Rehabilitation of the Halidzor Village Kindergarten," "Roofing Reconstruction for Shinuhayr and Karahunj Village Kindergartens," "Rehabilitation of House of Culture in Harzhis Village" projects, implemented by the World Vision International, as well as "Vardenis-13 Dentist
