On Children's Day and for important length of effective service in this sphere, RA Prime Minister Serzh Sargsyan handed in Prime Minister's letters of appreciation to a number of social and charitable organizations. In particular, the following organizations were forwarded such letters by the head of GoA: "Rescue" benevolent union for the relief of children-invalids, the child protection programs of the Armenia office of the Children's Fund of the United Nations, COAF children's relief fund, "Bridge of Hope" public charity, "Narekatsi" Arts Association, "Mother of Soldier" charitable committee, "Nakhabem" educational- cultural foundation, "New Names" non-governmental organization, "Astkhik" union of children-invalids, the Armenia branch of the Armenian Relief Fund of America, "Armenian Children's Association" non- governmental organization.
During the reception hosted by the Prime Minister, Mr. Sargsyan handed in Prime Minister's letters of appreciation to the representatives of foregoing organizations.
Coordinator of the Female Council by the Prime Minister, Karine Kirakosyan expressed gratitude to those public and charitable organizations caring for our children for their durable activities and noted that the Female Council by the Prime Minister and Female Council of the Republican Party had intervened with the Prime Minister for the encouragement of said organizations. Karine Kirakosyan stressed that the Government of Armenia had always placed a special focus upon child issues, many of which had been settled by law and that the rewarded organizations had promoted the decision of these problems by their active work.
In conclusion, on behalf of the Government, Prime Minister Serzh Sargsyan expressed readiness to continue supporting and cooperating with all the organizations dealing with the problems of children, inclusive of those requiring special care, orphans, invalids and needy ones. The Prime Minister stressed that through their highly valuable efforts, these organizations assisted the Government with the exercise of its duties
