Today Millenium Challenge Account-Armenia SNCO Governing Council has met, chaired by Council Chairman, RA Prime Minister Serzh Sargsyan.
The Council discussed and approved the results of competitions announced for purchase of consulting services, the results of technical and financial proposal estimations, other issues of current interest.
Concerning the tender announced for the purchase of consulting services under the Design and Monitoring of 6 Water-Mains Construction project of the Irrigated Agriculture component of the MCA-Armenia program, it was noted that upon careful study of the proposals, the evaluation commission suggested to invite for participation in the opening of financial proposals the one with the highest combined score out of those 3 companies/consortia having met the specified deadline for technical proposals.
All 5 companies having met the deadline set for notification of interest in the pre-qualification stage for the purchase of consulting services under Finalization and Monitoring of 6 Natural-Flow Irrigation Systems Construction project have been short-listed and invited by the tender committee for presentation of relevant proposals.
By specified deadline, 12 companies/consortia have notified of their interest with regard to the competition for purchase of consulting services for a farm research-based feasibility study to be carried out under From Water to Market component of the MCA-Armenia program. Having examined the applications received, the evaluation commission decided to present the technical and financial proposal of the company which had received the highest possible score.
It was noted that the results of the evaluations made would be submitted to the MCC for approval.
Council members similarly discussed and approved the draft application form for participation in the tender to be invited for the selection of MCA-Armenia program
