RA Prime Minister Serzh Sargsyan's Congratulatory Remarks on 70th Anniversary of Armenia's State Academic Choir
I congratulate the 70th anniversary of Armenia's State Academic Choir.
For over 7 decades Armenia's State Academic Choir has been familiarizing the world with the Armenian choir singing art by preserving the distinctly original and rich traditions of our national musical culture. The Choir has always attracted supporters by means of its unparalleled performances. The Choir is known not only as a performer of national and spiritual music, but also as an original interpreter of world classical music. The Choir's performing art has always been highly appreciated and continues to be held as such among world-famous musical art critics and art lovers to win the well-deserved qualification of "the artistic gem of the Armenian people."
Indeed, today's creative achievements of this nationwide-respected choir are promoted by the talented work of its artistic director and choir-master Hovannes Tchekijian who proved to be a worthy successor firstly for choir founder Tatul Altunyan and then Aram Ter-Hovannisyan.
Armenia's State Academic Choir is undoubtedly one of most celebrated companies in the world today.
Reiterating my congratulations on the 70th anniversary of Armenia's State Academic Choir, I would like to wish the company every success and new creative achievements.
