Today a consultative meeting has been held with RA Prime Minister Serzh Sargsyan on issues concerning the realization of the program of contractual management of "Haipost"company. Apart from the head of the State Property Management Department by RA Government and the President of the Central Bank, the meeting was attended by contractual manager Hans Boon and Deputy Director General of "Haipost"Karekin Kirk Odabashyan.
First, the Prime Minister emphasized that "Haipost"was contracted out for confidential management with the purpose of achieving higher efficiency in the operations of the company, providing the population with high-quality services in line with the international standards, and the government expected that "Haipost" would be reformed and modernized to this end. In the wake of the September 7, 2007 meeting with "Haipost"-related agenda, the need has arisen to get acquainted with the proposals of representatives of the management of "Haipost" regarding the implementation of the program of company development and the ways to addressing the existing problems, by simultaneously specifying to what extent their today's vision on company development corresponded to the one they had before proceeding to the management of the company. Serzh Sargsyan said that such clarification would make it possible for each side to take steps within the limits of their powers for the decision of the problems available and the accomplishment of the objectives set forward.
Manager of "Haipost" Hans Boon thanked the head of RA Government for his cabinet's and his personal efforts and readiness to cooperation towards the solution of those problems arisen during the management process and presented the work carried out by the company under his management. He outlined the challenges faced up by the company and exchanged views over the ways to their decision. Asked so by the Prime Minister, he detailed the activities planned and the outcomes expected for the years ahead under their contractual obligations.
In conclusion, the Prime Minister gave appropriate instructions to the agencies concerned and emphasized once again that the course of program implementation will be kept in the center of attention of RA Government.
