Today RA Prime Minister A. Margaryan has received the delegation headed by Deputy Mayor of Moscow City Administration Vladimir Resin.
To begin with, the Prime Minister congratulated Mr. Resin on his nomination to the honorary citizenship of Yerevan and thanked him for the valuable personal contribution in the advancement of a mutually beneficial cooperation between the two capital cities. Mr. A. Margaryan noted that the development of Armenian-Russian relationship was fuelled by the multi-faceted fruitful cooperation established between the governments of Armenia and Russia (the Moscow city government, in particular), as well as between the municipal administrations of Yerevan and Moscow, in line with the rationale behind the promotion of the prioritized economic partnership between our two countries in their capacity of strategical allies and the furtherance of direct ties of cooperation between individual administrative units.
Mr. Vladimir Resin said that, back to Armenia 17 years after the 1988 earthquake, he was quite impressioned by the transformations having occurred in our country and, especially, in the earthquake zone. He said himself highly appreciative of the pace and quality of construction and engineering activities underway which, according to him, were changing the outward looks of the country day after day.
