Today RA government commission on coordination of charitable programs has met, presided at by commission Chairman S. Ter-Simonyan.
The commission has reviewed 6 programs, including: 3 "Hayastan" All-Armenian Fund-implemented programs, referred to as "Manufacturing, purchase, delivery and free installation of equipment for the kindergarten of Mergashen village of Kotayk marz of the Republic of Armenia," "Manufacturing, purchase, delivery and free installation of aluminum shutters for "Youth Shooting School" SNCO in Yerevan and "Preparation of video films for TV Marathon-2007."
The commission has similarly approved a Holy See of Echmiadzin-implemented project entitled "Second stage engineering activities for the reinforcement and repair of the Holy Virgin Church" (Yot Verk) in Gyumri town, a program carried out by the NAS Institute of History SNCO referred to as "Publication of literature on the Armenian question, Armenian genocide and the Diaspora under Mesrop Archbishop Ashjean series," as well as a program realized by World Vision International charity, entitled "Repair of the children's center located on the territory of kindergarten No. 2 in Talin town."
The meeting has similarly discussed and approved a number of contracts and arrangements passed under the standing programs, as well as several projects of import of charitable freight destined to various organizations operating in Armenia.
