RA Prime Minister Serzh Sargsyan met with President of the Bank of Netherlands Nood Velink. By mentioning that the two countries enjoyed sufficiently warm and friendly relations, the President of the Bank of Netherlands said to be pleased with the current level of cooperation between his Bank and the Central Bank of Armenia. "We are proud about the technical assistance we are providing to the CBA in central bank-related matters and we deem that the cooperation is developing successfully,"- Mr. Velink said at the meeting with the RA Prime Minister. He shared out his impressions about the discussions held in our country and said to be impressed by the professionalism, understanding and scope of knowledge of those in attendance of such meetings.
The parties have further discussed the outlook for the development of bilateral cooperation, Armenia's possibilities for growing into a regional financial center and the steps that should be taken to this end, as well as the approaches of the President of the Bank of Netherlands as to the centralized oversight-related questions and other issues of mutual interest.
