RA Prime Minister Serzh Sargsyan welcomed the delegation of foreign journalists representing: the Russian Federation, Belarus, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, China. During the meeting, the journalists have asked several questions on most various themes concerning the current level of Armenia's relations with the these countries, the prospects for the development and strengthening of these relations, the economy of Armenia and the forthcoming programs of the RA Government, the operations of Iran-Armenia gas pipeline and the Armenian-Iranian relationship, the cooperation of the Republic Armenia with the EU and NATO, the process of settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and, in this context, the bellicose statements of the Azerbaijani side, including - the point of view of the RA Prime Minister concerning the recent assertion of the Minister of Defense of Azerbaijan about 100% probability of war. In connection with the latter, Serzh Sargsjan confirmed once again the position of Armenia, emphasizing that the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict could not be resolved by military way. As assured the Prime Minister, Armenia's Armed Forces are prepared to protect the frontiers of our State and Azerbaijan should bear on mind that by choosing the military way of decision of the issue, it would have to face far more challenges than it does at this point of time.

The foreign journalists also asked a number of questions concerning the upcoming presidential elections in Armenia.

At the end of the meeting, RA Prime Minister Serzh Sargsyan wished the journalists every success and expressed hope that they would leave Armenia with best impressions about our country and our people.
