By RA Prime Minister A. Margaryan's decision, Mr. Ashot Yesayan was released from the office of First Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Affairs of the Republic of Armenia. He was substituted in this post by Mr. Ara Petrosyan who was discharged from the office of RA Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Affairs.
In accordance with another decision signed the Prime Minister, Mr. Artsvik Minasyan was appointed RA Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Affairs.
Biographical Note
Mr. Artsvik Minasyan was born in Voskethas village of Talin region on January 1, 1972. In 1995, he graduated from the Economics Department of the Yerevan State University in the speciality of Economist-Mathematician and, in 2001, he received a lawyer's diploma from the Law Department of the Yerevan State Polytechnic. Starting from 1997, he attended the courses of the International Institute of U.S. Securities Commission, Moscow's State University and the Vienna United Institute. As from 1999, he was lecturer at the YSU Economics Department and from 2004 - at the Yerevan State Institute of Economics.
In the period from 1996 to 1998, he worked at RA Ministry of Finance and Economy first as Specialist of the Securities Market Regulatory Inspection, then as Head of Securities Market Regulation and Methodology Unit and, finally, as Head of Securities Market and Stock Exchange Inspection Department.
From 2000 up till the present appointment, Mr. Artsvik Minasyan was member of the RA Commission of Securities Market.
He has attended a number of international conferences and authored about a dozen of scientific papers.
Mr. Artsvik Minasyan is Candidate of Economics.
He has no political affiliation. He is married and has 3 children.
