RA Prime Minister Andranik Margaryan's Congratulory Message On Independence Day of NKR
Quote
Dear compatriots, I am congratulating you on the 14th anniversary of independence of the Republic of Nagorno Karabakh. On September 2, 1991, the people of Artsakh confirmed its right to building independent statehood and living freely and with dignity on its historical homeland. In the years that followed, with considerable efforts for eliminating the consequencies of the war, strengthening the Army and ensuring national security, the Armenians of Artsakh at the same time re-affirmed their willingness and determination to keep to peaceful settlement of the conflict and the principles stipulated in the Declaration of Independence. The above, coupled with the drive for economic rehabilitation, gradual solution of social problems, shaping and development of democratic institutions, emphasized and evidenced once again Artskh's Armenians devotion to democratic values proving thereby their right to existing as a State as they are convinced that the adherence to universal values is a strong argument in favor of the international recognition of the Republic of Nagorno Karabakh.
I am confident that, in collaboration with the Republic of Armenia and supported by the Diasporan Armenians, the Republic of Nagorno Karabakh will henceforth be able to defy any challenges and overcome the difficulties faced in order to continue building its independent statehood step by step in order to have a more prosperous tomorrow.
On this memorable day, in glorifying those who fell for the sake of Artsakh
