On victory in Armenia's presidential elections, NKR National Assembly Speaker Ashot Ghulyan has sent a congratulatory message to RA Prime Minister Serzh Sargsyan, which reads as follows:
"On behalf of the National Assembly of the NKR and myself, I am extending to you my heartfelt congratulations in connection with your fully merited victory in the RA presidential elections of February 19, 2008.
We in Artsakh closely followed the course of the electoral campaign and could see your imminent success in the nationwide polls.
Your victory in the very first round of elections indicates that the larger part of the people of Armenia fully supports your sustainable development and prosperity-oriented electoral program and sees an experienced statesman, political figure and devoted patriot in you.
We are sure that your future activity in the highly responsible post of RA President will go a long way towards the consolidation of all Armenians.
