RF President Vladimir Putin has sent a congratulatory message to RA Prime Minister Serzh Sargsyan on his victory in Armenia's presidential elections. The congratulatory message states in part:
"The relations of confidence, constructive cooperation and mutual support between our two countries are highly appreciated in Russia. The consistent furtherance of strategic partnership is in full harmony with the core interests of the peoples of Russia and Armenia and promotes stability in South Caucasus.
It is my pleasure to note your personal contribution to the development of the Russian-Armenian relationship. I am confident that your activity in the high office of President of the Armenian State will bring about further progress in these relations."
