Chairman of the Committee of Veterans of War and Armed forces of Armenia Grant Hovhannisyan congratulated RA Prime Minister Serzh Sargsyan on victory in Armenia's presidential election. In his congratulatory message, along with congratulations, Mr. Hovahnnisyan has presented his comments and considerations concerning the resolution of crucial to the nation issues. The message states in part:
"Honorable President,
The Armenian Committee of Veterans of War and Armed Forces warmly congratulates you on your election to the highly responsible post of RA President at this complex time, wishes sound health and much success in your activity. We want you to enjoy the love and respect of the whole nation."
As stated in the letter, "the building and strengthening of our national army in the first years of independence may be called a miracle. The army should be kept in the center of attention of the authorities and the society. No effort should be spared for its further strengthening. Your immense contribution to this process, as well as to the organization of operations for liberation of Artsakh is highly valued by the people of Armenia. Here is the wisdom of our people who gave preference to patriotic figures.
As assured by committee member veterans, "there is no need to convince that the veterans of war are among Motherland devotees and have no other wish but to see the country in all safety and power before sunset. They henceforth will aspire to these sacred goals, therefore, competent authorities should make a better use of their potential.
This letter was written with trust in you, and I think you will confirm this trust.
Once again, we wish you longevity and fruitful activity for the sake of Armenia."
