Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund Dominique Strauss-Kahn has sent a congratulatory message to RA Prime Minister Serzh Sargsyan on his election to the post of President of the Republic of Armenia. The message states in part:
"Dear Mr. Sargsyan,
Please accept my warm congratulations on your election as the new President of the Republic of Armenia.
For more than 15 years, the IMF has cooperated successfully with the Armenian authorities on policies to foster economic growth and reduce poverty.
