President of the Republic of India Prtibha Devisingh Patil has sent a congratulatory message to RA Prime Minister Serzh Sargsyan on his election as President of the Republic of Armenia. The message says in part:
"Excellency,
Please accept my sincere congratulations on your election to the office of President of the Republic of Armenia. I am convinced that Armenia will experience progress under your leadership.
Relations between India and Armenia go deep into history to provide our ongoing contacts with warmth and friendship. Bilateral ties are expanding in the fields of trade, culture and education. I look forward to strengthened multifaceted cooperation between our two countries in the years ahead.
I extend my best wishes for robust health and every success in all undertakings to you, as well as - for peace and prosperity to the people of Armenia."

President of the Czekh Republic Vaclav Klaus has sent a congratulatory message to RA Prime Minister Serzh Sargsyan on his election as President of the Republic of Armenia. The message says in part:
