Today RA Prime Minister A. Margaryan has received Director-General of Synopsis-Armenia Rich Goldman.
Appreciating the entry into the Armenian market of Synopsos, a world-renowned company engaged in software provision activity for automated e-design and copyright affairs, the Prime Minister highly valued Synopsis-Armenia's year-long activity in Armenia in terms of providing professional training and re-training to local specialists backed up by the development and application of new technologies in industry. Stressing that the ITs were a key priority for the government's economic policy with special emphasis placed on the promotion of electronic government, implementation of information society-related programs and application of innovative technologies, Mr. Margaryan said that the projects carried out by Synopsos-Armenia were in full harmony with the policy-line abode by the Armenian government in the given field and, therefore, the executive stood ready to assist the company in the planning and realization of its activities in our country. The Prime Minister emphasized the training and job-procurment program initiated by Synopsos-Armenia for university students by mentioning that the availability of high-quality specialists in a variety of fields along with state-of-the-art technologies would be an additional asset for the development of national economy.
Mr. Rich Goldman advised that Synopsos-Armenia had signed an agreement on the acquisition of "HPL Technologies" that would strengthen Synopsis's position in the field referred to as "Development for Manufacture" (DFM) by liaising the company directly to the production of semi-conductors and placing it on the leading edge of the "from-development-to-silicon" comprehensive circuit solutions and, thereby, building on its capital of know-how in the sphere of DFM. He thanked the Armenian government for the IT-friendly environment created and went on to stress that this was the chief reason behind Synopsis
