From the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, Catholicos of All Armenians Garegin II has sent congratulations and patriarchal blessings to Tigran Sargsyan in connection with his appointment to the office of RA Prime Minister. The congratulatory message states in part:
"Dear Mr. Prime Minister,
From the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, we hereby offer our patriarchal blessings and congratulations to you on your appointment to the office of Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia.
In your capacity of head of the CBA, you made a valuable contribution to the organization and development of Armenia's economic life by launching and implementing various programs. Knowing you as a patriot and a faithful Armenian who has dedicated so many efforts to the development of our Homeland, we believe that you will henceforth spare no effort to promote our country's progress, prosperity and well-being, as well as to help materialize the expectations of Armenians worldwide.
