RA Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan called at the headquarters of the Armenian Development Agency CJSC and introduced to its staff newly appointed director general Robert Harutyunyan. In presenting the new head of the Agency, the Prime Minister said in particular:
"Many of you may have known Mr. Harutyunyan as expert, head of project implementation agency, a person with long experience in this field. I am convinced that the appointment of Mr. Harutyunyan will be accepted by you in a sense that he will manage to rally you and give a new breath to the Agency. It is not a secret that the activity of the agency is extremely important, especially at this stage when economic development should receive new quality. Among other factors, your work will account for future investments that will come to Armenia and, based on this, the new structure of our economy, those functions to fulfill in order to stimulate exports. We are convinced that first of all new focuses should be placed on high-technology sectors and we expect that as an intellectual environment and an institute based on intellectual potential, you realize very well that it will be the competitive advantage of our country. The main feature of our activities for the next few years will consist in that the Government has already specified a new strategy and new priorities for our country. What matters most is that we will be implementing pan-Armenian programs for which a new tool
