RA Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan received Head of OSCE Yerevan Office Ambassador Sergey Kapinos.
The Prime Minister thanked the Ambassador for the OSCE Yerevan Office
's fruitful activity in Armenia which covers a broad range of spheres and questions and expressed readiness for cooperation on behalf of his government.During the meeting, Sergey Kapinos spoke about the current undertakings and programs implemented by the OSCE Yerevan Office in the military-political, economic, environmental and other spheres, as well as in the field of human rights and democracy. According to him, the Office follows closely developments in Armenia and the government
's current endeavors and, in addition to the above-said 3 areas, would like to assist the Executive with the design of a new anti-corruption strategy and the stimulation of small and medium-size enterprise in the country. Sergey Kapinos advised that a pan-Armenian ORHUS forum is due to be held one of these days to discuss the possibilities for ensuring higher involvement of the society in environmental decision-making processes.The head of the OSCE Yerevan Office stressed the need for informing Armenian citizens
' on their rights and increasing the level of public awareness in this field by means of diversified programs.
