Today at the Government'
s conference hall, RA Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan attended the opening session of "Youth, Reality, Outlook" youth conference as organized by the Youth Action Center with the support of RA Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs. According to the organizers, the conference seeks to raise awareness of youth social activities, promote cooperative ties between the NGOs and the State, the NGOs and international organizations, as well as between non- governmental organizations. It also aims at revealing youth problems and discussing possibilities for their decision. In his address to conference participants, the Prime Minister spoke of youth
's role in the efforts for shaping our country's future day and said in particular:"What will our country
's future be like? If we want to answer this question today, we must work with you. Our country's future will match your vision of the future. Those values embraced by you will lie at the heart of the future Armenia. In communicating with you we will have a more accurate idea of the future. In this respect, I do believe that this gathering is important to the government as it provides a unique forum for hearing your views, your vision of youth policies and expectations from the government, as well as to have your message to the government as to our failures and future actions - our weaknesses and assets. If such a dialog is engaged, we will certainly back your efforts aimed at having your long-dreamt Armenia. In a pavilion over here, a beautiful girl told me your mission consists in that nobody can prevent you from dreaming. I feel today your are offered an exceptional opportunity for imparting your dreams to us, and I can assure you that it will first of all be beneficial for the government to get to learn of the dreams and aspirations of our youth. I would like to wish the forum every success and state that we are strongly interested in that events like this are successful. Good luck."
