RA government commission on coordination of welfare programs met, chaired by commission chairman Simon Ter-Simonyan.
The commission has discussed 19 charitable programs, including the following projects carried out by "Hayastan" All-Armenian Fund: "Fabrication of prizes symbolizing RA President
's scholarship awards in the field of information technologies," "Study and survey of water supply systems in Apaven and Dzoramut villages of Lori marz," "Design of water supply and irrigation systems in Aknakhpyur village of Tavush marz,", "Reorganization and design of water supply system in Nrnadzor village of Syunik marz,' "Environmental impact study for civil works in Haghartsin monastic complex," "Design of major overhaul and modernization work for an office building in Ditavan village," as well as "Construction design for a ski track near cableway n.4 in Tsahkadzor village of Kotayk,"The meeting approved the Holy See of St. Echmiadzin-implemented "Realization of dismantling work for outbuildings and other structures near the Mother Church of the Holy See of St Echmiadzin which are not historical and cultural monuments," "Construction of foundations, installation of roundabouts and other amenities in the Nercissian Alley of the Holy See of St. Echmiadzin," "Manufacturing and installation of kitchen furniture and built-in cases in the TV section of the information network of the Holy See of St. Echmiadzin," "Repair of a library building belonging to the Holy See of St. Echmiadzin, situated at Amiryan-11," "Installation of a telephone network at the Mother Church of the Holy See of St. Echmiadzin," as well as "Printing of Armenian Church History textbooks' programs.
The commission also discussed and endorsed the following programs carried out by World Vision International: "Liaising with the church and the government," "Sewerage construction and sanitary unit repairs in the kindergarten of Khot village, as well as partial repair of kindergartens in Shamb and Tolors villages of Syunik marz.

' Saints Benevolent Association-implemented "Granting of furniture to the secondary school of Koti community" and "Granting of student's supplies to secondary school n.37 in Gyumri town," grant programs scheduled for 2008-2009 as implemented by the Armenia branch of the relief fund of the Open Society Institute, as well as a project financed by KAZA Swiss humanitarian fund referred to as "Extra repair of the building of Nicol Aghbalyan gymnasium SNCO in Akhurian town of Shirak marz.The meeting has also discussed and approved several sub-programs under the standing ones, as well as projects on import of charitable freight destined to various organizations operational in Armenia.
