Today the Commission on Coordination of Charitable Programs under RA Government has held a meeting chaired by commission chairman V. Movsisyan.
Discussed were 8 charitable programs. In particular, the Commission has discussed and approved the project of renovations and upgrades of a hostel building in Etchmiadzin town to be implemented by Othevan Young People Association through funding available from the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) Armenia Office, the program of action by the National Foundation for Science and Advanced Technologies under the Organizational Support to U.S. Civil Research and Developments Fund's Scientific Grants Program, the Improved Medical Access in Vardenis and Tshambarak Regions Project implemented by the Armenia Office of "Cross-Border Physicians - Belgium" organization, the Medical and Health Care Services Project by the "Swedish Stand-By: Medical Association" non-governmental organization, the project for construction of a building for Pyunik Invalids Union as implemented by the Armenia branch office of French-Armenian Solidarity charitable organization, as well as a project for the construction of a memorial complex in Gyumri town by Revival of Gyumri benevolent non-governmental organization, a program implemented by the Syunik Marz Seed-Breeders Legal Persons Union non-governmental organization, the Free Tooth-Care Assistance to Vulnerable People Program by the International Association for Development of Dentist Services.
The meeting discussed and approved other projects concerning the import into the republic of freight addressed to different organizations, as well as transactions under implementation within the framework of previously passed projects.
