RA Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Argentine to the Republic of Armenia Leopoldo Alfredo Bravo.
To begin with, on behalf of the Armenian government, the Prime Minister congratulated the Ambassador on the start-up of his diplomatic mission in our country and on Argentina
's Independence Day - July the 9th. Tigran Sargsyan advised that Armenia is interested in the strengthening of relations and expanding cooperation with Argentine. With a view to boosting bilateral economic exchanges, the government of Armenia was said to be prepared to assist the Ambassador as much as possible throughout his term of office.The parties spoke with satisfaction of the two countries
' cooperation and mutual support about all key issues discussed within international organizations. The head of the Armenian government said to be particularly appreciative of the continued support available from the government and the people of Argentine regarding the international recognition of the Armenian Genocide and the favorable treatment offered to the locally-based Armenian community.Ambassador Leopoldo Alfredo Bravo said he could see vast opportunities for the development of the existing ties in a number of spheres by mentioning that he happened to take up the matter during his meetings with the President of Armenia, a number of ministers and the Catholicos of All Armenians. He expressed confidence that this potential would be used in the best possible manner through joint endeavors to the benefit of our two peoples and States.
