Tigran Sargsyan witnessed Armenia's interest in processing rough diamond imported from Russia which is supposed to boost employment in the country. The Prime Minister said to be hopeful that the standing bilateral arrangements on mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries reached at various levels would be implemented with success.
The President of Kristal Company stressed that having deeply rooted jewelry traditions and a multitude of skilled workers, Armenia is sufficiently well placed to develop diamond industry. Maxim Shkadov advised that the first lot of Russian diamond is due to arrive in Armenia shortly, with a possibility of stepping up imports in the near future.
