Today the Republic of Armenia Prime Minister Andranik Margaryan has received Ukrainian Minister of Transport and Communications Victor Bondar.

During the meeting, the Armenian Prime Minister expressed confidence that irrespective of the political developments having taken place in Ukraine recently, the Armenian-Ukrainian relationship in different fields would continue developing along the lines traced by the high-level arrangements reached between the two sides. With respect to bilateral cooperation, he emphasized the role of the intergovernmental commission and went on to mention that all trade and economy-related matters were going to be addressed in the framework of said commission. With reference to the cooperation in the area of transport communications, Mr. Andranik Margaryan mentioned the positive fact of "UkrFerry" company's having considered the possibility of shipping from the Ukrainian port of Illichevsk the freight going to and from Armenia through the Georgian port of Poti instead of Batoumi, as well as the inclusion on the intergovernmental commission
