Today Republic of Armenia Prime Minister Andranik Margaryan has received the delegation headed by Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran Mr. Manouchehar Mottaki.
The Prime Minister congratulated Mr. Mottaki on the 27th Anniversary of Islamic Revolution in Iran and said to be pleased that due to the historical traditions established between Armenia and Iran, the mutually advantageous cooperation between the two countries continued with as much success after the formation of the new Iranian government. In his opinion, this could be evidenced by frequent mutual visits and meetings of high-ranking officials and the ongoing effective political dialog between the Ministries for Foreign Affairs of the two countries. The activated cooperation, according to the Prime minister, was in the best interests of Armenia and Iran and could be beneficial to the whole region.
