RA Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan's Message on Teacher's Day
Dear Teachers,
I warmly congratulate you on your professional holiday -the Teacher's Day. This holiday, which in accordance with a government decree has been marked for seven years now, testifies to great care and thoughtfulness shown for the teachers' dedicated work.
Education is among the government's priorities and we will be exacting in this field considering that schools give birth to good citizens, highly knowledgeable and internationally competitive specialists. At stake is the future of our State and nobody is supposed to show indifference.
The State-administered educational reform seeks to instill love and respect for knowledge, introduce modern high-standard education, as well as raise the social standing and the living conditions of our teachers. Dear teachers, you have to play a key role in these processes.
Congratulating you once again on this holiday day, I wish you all robust health and every success, high festive spirits as I am convinced that the cause of educating and bringing up the rising generations is in careful and reliable hands.
