RA Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan’s Congratulatory Message on New Year Day and Christmas
Dear Compatriots,
We have a twofold feeling as we part with the year 2008. On one hand, we had regrettable losses and shortfalls for which we are asking your pardon. On the other hand, we enjoyed the result of our citizens’ hard-earned and devoted work that helped us meet and overcome so many threats.
Learning on past experiences, we all think about the future. What will this quickly shaped new world be like? What kind of adverse and positive changes will it bring along?
May God grant us strength and ability enough to resist the new challenges with dignity.
May God give us wisdom to build a bright future for our country in an atmosphere of unity, mutual respect and understanding.
I am well aware that Armenians worldwide have high expectations from the Government. We have no right to deceive you. I am convinced that under the leadership of the Republic’s President, our team will be in a position to ensure unity in essential things, freedom in what is secondary and love in everything.
Dear Compatriots!
On New Year’s Eve, I wholeheartedly wish that all your dreams and plans come true. May any good initiative of yours, whether planned, dreamt of or projected, take effect next year and any good idea be converted into a good undertaking for the sake of our country’s prosperity.
May all our noble deeds come to successful completion and this will be the key to Armenia’s success.
A Happy New Year and Merry Christmas!
