A session of RA government’s charitable project coordination commission took place, chaired by commission head Simon Ter-Simonyan.
11 projects have been discussed, including: 2 projects implemented by Hayastan All-Armenian Fund, referred to as “Preparation of Accountable Films,” “Copyright (Additional) Surveillance over the Construction of Secondary School in Spitakashen Village of Martuni Region of the NKR” respectively. The meeting also approved the following Howard Karagezyan Relief Fund-financed projects: “Free Medical Assistance for Children,” “Free Distribution of Hearing Aids,” “Periodical Disease Treatment and Free Distribution of Medicaments to Children.” There have also been endorsed 2 projects carried out by “Othevan” Christian Youth Association, namely: “Installation of gas in the former agricultural college building of Darbnik village of Ararat marz” and “Partly repair of the building belonging to the Migration Agency of the Ministry of Territorial Administration.”
In 2009-2012, the Armenia branch office of AGAPE charity will realize a program aimed at improving living conditions for the inhabitants of Kashatakh region of the NKR.
The Anoushavan Abrahamyan educational foundation will carry out a number of projects for fabrication and installation of windows in the Kapan State Engineering College, the Yekhegnadzor State College and the Vanadzor State College.
The meeting has also discussed and approved several sub-programs under the standing ones, as well as projects on import of charitable freight destined to various organizations operational in Armenia.
