RA Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan received an IMF delegation consisting of IMF Permanent Representative in Armenia Ninke Oomes, Deputy Director of Middle East and Central Asia Directorate Lorenzo Peres, IMF Executive Director Ah Bakker, Head of the Armenia Mission Mark Louis and a number of mission economists.
Against a background of global financial and economic crisis, the mission aims to discuss a bilateral cooperation-related agenda as highlighted in the Memorandum on Economic and Financial Policies.
Based on common approaches, the head of the Armenian government and the IMF representatives referred to those Fund estimates, findings and proposals specified in the Memorandum and discussed the details of the package of proposals.
