Chief of RA Government Staff David Sargsyan, “Mediamax” news agency director Ara Tadevosyan and CBA monetary policy department head Arthur Stepanyan gave a news conference at the Office of Government.
They presented the offer for a contest entitled “I am getting over the crisis” and declared the contest open.
Chief of RA Government Staff David Sargsyan underscored that the government is backing this initiative of “Mediamax” in an effort to activate the dialog between the government and civil society, as well as to get them engaged in the discussion of issues of key importance to our country and the State.
It has been noted that the contest is open for such students from higher educational institutions’ economics departments as will submit essays on the mentioned topic. This will enable them to present their vision of non-standard approaches and ways out of the global crisis. The contest is also supposed to allow them to review the steps implemented by both the Government and the Central Bank and discuss such ideas as may have a practical impact.
The authors of 3 most successful studies will be awarded commemorative coins and material incentives on the part of the Central Bank.
Contest eligibility details were said to be available at the appropriate section of the Mediamax-powered www.banks.am website.
