A session of RA government’s charitable project coordination commission took place, chaired by commission head Simon Ter-Simonyan.
The commission has discussed 11 programs. In particular, there have been considered and approved the following programs carried out by Hayastan All-Armenian Fund “Gym hall construction for secondary school N2 of Spitak town,” Partial repair of Hadrut’s central regional hospital in the NKR,” “Furnishing of a classroom in the secondary school of Azatamut village of Tavush marz,” and “Partial equipment of secondary school N10 in Abovian town and secondary school N3 in Nor Hachin town. The Holy See of St Echmiadzin will realize a projects referred to as “Design work for reorganization of the building of Khrimian hospital into block of flats for priests.” The Yerevan branch of the Armenian Assembly of America will finance the 2nd stage of reconstruction activities for the building - monument at Hanrapetuian – 37.
The meeting has also discussed and approved: a program on scout campus by the Armenian General Benevolent Union, a program on refurbishment and partial equipment (2nd stage) for secondary school N3 by the Ministry of Education and Science in Kapan town of Syunik marz as financed by Well-Being relief fund, a retraining program for family doctors and nurses in Shirak marz on the basis of “Berlin” polyclinic as implemented by Fur Armenien, a Berlin branch of the German Red Cross, a program of Lilik women’s organization on repair of the canteen in the secondary school of Khendzoresk village of Syunik marz, a number of projects carried out by the Armenia branch of the Armenian Educational Establishment, referred to as respectively: “Repair of musical schools in Nor Khachakap, Karkop and Kachachkut villages of Lori marz and Serbat village of Ararat marz, reconstruction of schools in Musa Ler village of Armavir marz, Antaramej and Chkalovka villages of Gegharkunik marz. World Vision International will implement a program entitled “Lower vulnerability for the population in the Stepanavan region under emergency situations.”
The meeting has also discussed and approved several sub-programs under the standing ones, as well as projects on import of charitable freight destined to various organizations operational in Armenia.
