RA Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan met with Mikhail Sahakashvili at Georgian President’s place of residence in Yerevan.
The parties discussed issues concerning the strengthening of economic relations, the deepening of cooperation in various areas, exchanges in the spheres of tourism, education and culture, as well as the prospects for their development.
Strengthened economic interaction and joint endeavors were said to be able to offset the economic impact of the global crisis.
The head of the Armenian government highlighted the need for undisrupted operations of transport communications across the Georgian territory by stressing that they are vital to our country’s economy. The two sides further discussed a set of cargo traffic- and customs clearance-related issues.
The meeting was marked by an atmosphere of warmth and friendship.
