RA Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan received today entrepreneurs from Belarus who are in Armenia with the purpose of strengthening Armenia-Belarus trade and economic relations and expanding economic cooperation.
Greeting the guests, Tigran Sargsyan noted that economic exchanges still fall short of the existing potentialities, and expressed hope that this visit of Belarusian businessmen will go a long way towards boosting mutually advantageous relations between the two countries.
The meeting agenda featured discussion of a range of questions concerning the application of farm produce processing technologies inclusive of dairy products, the exchange of know-how and the possibility of getting investments from Belarus.
Representative of major food processing enterprises, our Belarusian partners thanked the Prime Minister for offering favorable conditions and assured of their readiness to engage in effective cooperation with Armenian counterparts.
Also, the possibility of launching a Belarusian trading house in Armenia was discussed, meant to enable the introduction of the whole range of Belarusian products into Armenia’s commodity market.
