A session of RA government’s charitable project coordination commission took place, chaired by commission head Simon Ter-Simonyan.
The commission has discussed and approved 15 projects, including: Hayastan All-Armenian Fund-financed “Installation of a milk reception station in the school building of Azatamut village Tavush marz,” and “Design of internal irrigation networks in border villages of Tavush marz,” Holy See of St Echmiadzin-implemented “Purchase of basalt blocks for construction of a church in Erebuni district of Yerevan,” and “Reconstruction of heating, water supply and drainage systems for the Treasury,” a grant-funded program carried out by the Ministry of Health Care, referred to as “Strengthening of the RA national anti- tuberculosis program,” as well as the 3rd stage of construction activities for the new block of Matenadaran, as implemented by Matenadaran Foundation.
The meeting has endorsed the World Vision International-sponsored partial repair of primary school No. 4 in Sarahart district of Kapan town of the Republic of Armenia, “The sanitary unit repairs for school No. 8 in Tskharshik district of Kapan town of Syunik marz,” “Construction and equipment with playing facilities of the children’s playground in Artsvanik community of Syunik marz,” “Accommodation of playgrounds in kindergarten of No.1 Saruhan village and in kindergartens of Landzhakhpyur and Tsovazard villages of Gavar region of Gegharkunik marz,” “Import and free distribution of charitable freight in Alaverdi region,” “Purchase of playgrounds for Yagdan and Hobardzi communities of Lori marz” and “Organization of a summer Christian campus for children from Gandzak, Tsakhkashen, Sarukhan, Landzhahpyur, Gegharkunik, Berdkunk, Airavank and Tsovazard villages of Gavar region of Gegharkunik marz.”
The agenda comprised the following programs: “Otevan” Christian association of young people-implemented “Manufacture and installation of window frames for the base school - grammar school of Goris town of Syunik marz of the Republic of Armenia, as well as a charity freight import and distribution-related program by New Life-Armenia relief fund.
The meeting has also discussed and approved several sub-programs under the standing ones, as well as projects on import of charitable freight destined to various organizations operational in Armenia.
