A session of RA government’s charitable project coordination commission took place, chaired by commission head Simon Ter-Simonyan.
The commission has discussed 14 charitable programs, including the following projects as implemented by:
Hayastan All-Armenian Fund, referred to as:
Capital repair of the right-wing block of Artsni village secondary school of Lori marz
Construction of a municipal center in Aknakhpyur village of Tavush marz
Irrigation system study programs for Aygehovit and Vazashen villages of Tavush marz
The Armenia branch of the Armenian Relief Fund of America, referred to as:
“Armenian national scientific and educational foundation,” to extend grants to individual researchers and scientific groups of the Republic of Armenia
“Tuition fee,” to support needy students by settling tuition fees and providing grants,
“Charitable hot-food canteens,” to support lonely elderly persons and invalids
The Tiramair Hayastani Kusastan charitable society, referred to as:
“Establishment of a day-time care center in Gyumri, “Assistance for vulnerable households,” “Poghosian educational center,” and “Summer campus”
World Vision International, referred to as:
Import and free distribution of charitable goods in Kanaker-Zeytun residential district of Yerevan
The Armenak and Anna Tadeosian Clinic welfare fund, referred to as:
Outpatient clinic construction in Kosh village
The Holy See of St Etchmiadzin, referred to as:
“Manufacturing and installation of furniture in the TV subsection of the information system of the Holy See
“Kamurjak” relief society, referred to as:
Granting of medical equipment to Yerevan State Medical University SNCO
The meeting also discussed and approved several sub-programs as part of the ongoing projects, as well as a number of charitable freight import-related projects for various organizations operational in Armenia.
