The RA government commission on coordination of relief programs met today at the Office of Government, chaired by commission head Simon Ter-Simonyan.
The commission discussed and approved 20 programs, including:
The following programs financed by Hayastan all-Armenian fund
- Construction design of a ground pedestrian crossing in the street Khanjian in Yerevan,
- Partial repair of bulding B of Yerevan’s Nork infectious disease hospital,
- Furnishing of the house of culture after Varaz Samuelian in Artik town of Shirak marz of the Republic of Armenia,
- Reconstruction design of irrigation systems in Aigehovit and Vazashen communities of Tavush marz of the Republic of Armenia,
- The author’s control of reconstruction of water supply and drainage systems in Askeran town of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic,
- Reconstruction design for water supply internal network in Noragyukh village of Askeran region of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic,
A program carried out by the Armenia branch of the Armenian Relief Fund of America for reconstruction of the building of grammar school N.21 after Oyunjian in Gjumri,
A program carried out in 2010 by Howard Karagezyan public charity referred to as “Free medical aid for children,”
A program carried out in 2010 by “Orran” relief society aimed at eradicating poverty and begging among children and old-age persons,
A cable-way design project carried out by Shushi-Revival foundation in the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic,
A program carried out by World Vision International entitled “Import and free distribution of charitable cargoes in Gavar region, “Import and free distribution of charitable cargoes to needy households in the city of Gyumri and Hovuni and Marmashen communities,” “Import and free distribution of charitable cargoes in Kapan region of Armenia,” “Import and free distribution of charitable cargoes in Sisian and Goris regions,” “Import and free distribution of charitable cargoes in Stepanavan region,” “Import and free distribution of charitable cargoes in Talin regon of Aragatsotni marz,” “Import and free distribution of charitable cargoes in Tavush marz,” “Import and free distribution of charitable cargoes in Vardenis and Chambarak regions.”
A program carried out by SOS-Children’s village welfare fund referred to as “Long-term family trusteeship and education of orphans and destitute children,”
A program carried out by Arshavir and Paitsar Abramian welfare fund for construction of a cathedral of Russian Orthodox Church in Yerevan.
In conclusion, the meeting approved several sub-programs as part of the ongoing ones, as well a number of freight import-related projects for a number of organizations operational in Armenia.
