Unified data bank improvement is a must
The Business Support Council met at the Office of Government, chaired by council chairman, RA Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan.
To begin with, council secretary Robert Harutunyan reported back progress in implementation of the assignments given at the two preceding meetings. Then the meeting looked into the dispute opposing Didas International Ltd and the State Revenue Committee by the Government and decided that another discussion should be held involving the stakeholders.
Next the council was introduced to the ABU-proposed amendments concerning the procedure to follow in the disposal of pawned objects, including the establishment and improvement of a consolidated data bank.
In conclusion, the meeting discussed the findings and recommendations of the BSC secretariat on the need for revising and restructuring the reports due to State authorities and government agencies in 2009. Tigran Sargsyan ordered to set up a minister of economy-headed task force to be entrusted with the collection of statistical data from government registers in order to rule out overlaps and duplications in future.
