Government commission on coordination of relief programs met at the Office of Government, chaired by head of commission Simon Ter-Simonyan.
The meeting discussed and approved 10 programs, among which:
The following Hayastan all-Armenian fund-sponsored programs: “Capital repair of maternity and surgical wards of Abovian Maternity Home SJSC of Kotayk marz,” “Installation of window frames at Special School N.1 of Artik town of Shirak marz,” “Bathroom repairs in Yerevan’s Nork Boarding School SNCO,” “Equipping of Huys children’s home after Fridjoff Nansen in Gyumri town of Shirak marz;”
The Armeniaca project as carried out by the Yerevan branch office of the Armenian Relief Fund of America which seeks to digitalize all archival records, references and literature on Armenian architecture available at home and abroad for online publicaton;
Two projects implemented by the Holy See of St. Etchmiadzin referred to as “Repair of the Treasury” and “Design of Garegin I Educational Center;”
A project financed by Hrair and Anna Hovnanyan Foundation providing for the construction of a church complex comprising the residence of the Catholicos and Saint Ann’s church by Surb Katoghike church;
A furnishing and equipment project by ARDA relief fund for kindergarten N6 in Gyumri and the founding of Zeitun training and support center to provide professional training and employment to vulnerable households nationwide.
The meeting discussed and approved several sub-programs as part of the ongoing projects, as well some charitable freight import-related projects for a number of organizations operational in Armenia.
