Phone conversation with the newly appointed prime minister of Ukraine
RA Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan had a phone conversation with newly appointed Ukrainian Prime Minister Nikolay Azarov.
Tigran Sargsyan congratulated Nikolay Azarov on appointment to the office of prime minister and wished him every success in this responsible post. Addressing his Ukrainian counterpart, Prime Minister Sargsyan pointed out that while there is a large amount of untapped potential between the two countries, he can see vast prospects for bilateral cooperation. The two heads of government concurred in that the intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation should be more active in its proceedings.
In this connection, commission co-chairs were assigned to agree upon and make up an agenda for the next sitting of the commission.
