The list of events features 8 priority areas for the year 2010: scientific-educational and cultural events, publishing and re-editing of books and albums in Armenian and foreign languages, exhibitions, spectacles, marches, gala evenings, schoolchildren’s visits to the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute, shooting and presentation of topical films, preparation of corresponding posters, leaflets and so on. Different State agencies, civil society and political structures will be involved in these actions.
The meeting emphasized the necessity of mobilizing Armenian and foreign scholars and lawyers by hosting symposia under this initiative. The head of government indicated that students and teachers in international law from US and European universities should be mobilized in the first place mediating the resource of Luys Foundation. Noteworthy is that the genocide of Armenians has been chosen as a theme for graduation essay by a group of Harvard University students.
