The Armenian-Czech business forum welcomed by the two prime ministers
Republic of Armenia Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan and Czech Republic Prime Minister Jan Fisher attended today the closing of the Armenian-Czech business forum. In his address, Tigran Sargsyan stated in part: “Events like this are instrumental in the deepening, expanding and diversifying the cooperation. Direct contacts between Armenian and Czech businessmen may help expose the potential available in the economic field. We cherish great hopes considering that about a dozen Czech companies are in attendance of this forum. I was happy to hear that arrangements were up in four areas of activity which used to be and are still pivotal in Armenia’s economy. I do believe that the government of Armenia will take any step necessary for implementation of these arrangements which may cover food and processing industries, building materials, communication and transport or modern technologies. All of these spheres are in the circle of our interest. I would like to assure you of our readiness to extend every possible support to your undertakings. At the same time, I wish to thank the Prime Minister of the Czech Republic for his perseverance and consistency as he could push ahead with all those arrangements reached during our Prague meeting. I am convinced that his personal commitment to and participation in this forum is the pledge of success and new quality in bilateral relationship.”
Czech Republic Prime Minister Jan Fischer addressed the forum, too.
In conclusion, the two prime ministers answered the questions of journalists.
