Today the Republic of Armenia Prime Minister-established commission on coordination of activity under the Month of Information Technologies has held a meeting at the Office of Government as chaired by commission chairman, Adviser to Republic of Armenia Prime Minister Ara Hacobyan.
The course of performance of the assignments of given at the previous session concerning the list of the actions stipulated by the preliminary program, organizational questions associated with their realization, specification of the schedule of actions and other topical issues have been discussed. It was noted that in accordance with the preliminary program of the Month of Information Technologies, in the period from September 1 to October 1, a competition on IT programming will be held (open championship and summer school) the purpose of which will be the development of skills of young specialists in the field of both information and telecommunication technologies and the training of next generations of programmers.
