Continued cooperation between RA State agencies and EU Advisory Group
Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan received EU Advisory Group members, led by Head of EU Delegation to Armenia, Ambassador Raul Lutzenberger.
Head of EU Delegation to Armenia Raul de Luzenberger thanked the Prime Minister for reception. He assured of the Group’s continued assistance with the ongoing preparations for the signing of a free trade agreement between the Republic of Armenia and the European Union.
Head of EU Advisory Group to Armenia Rolf Boehnke described the course of cooperation stating both the achievements and the prospects.
Discussed were issues relevant to current cooperation covering foreign debt service, removal of trade barriers and improvement of customs administration. Reference was made of the ongoing cooperation with the National Assembly, including in the field of human rights defense. Appreciating the Group’s contribution to the sphere of communications in Armenia, both sides stressed the need for raising public awareness of pension reforms.
Individual members of the Advisory Group, which works with RA State agencies, reported back the outcome of joint efforts and outlined ways of addressing the existing challenges.
