The Prime Minister congratulated the staff of the Office of Prosecutor General on their professional holiday
Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan attended today the opening of a gala meeting dedicated to the Day of Office of Prosecutor General Staff and the 92 anniversary of the Office of Prosecutor General.
On this occasion, the staff of the Office of Procurator General laid flowers to the memorial plate dedicated to Petik Torosyan, one of the founders of the Office of Prosecutor General.
Greeting the those present, Tigran Sargsyan said in particular that this holiday is an exclusive opportunity to look back at the path covered by the Office of Prosecutor General, including the achievements and failures and, at the same time, to point out the tasks to address. “Your work is essential to the strengthening of our statehood. I am convinced that strong with this understanding, we can identify the failures and carry out teamwork for their correction. I am also convinced that we have a solid resource at the Office of Prosecutor General to effectively cope with any problem facing our society,” Tigran Sargsyan said.
The Prime Minister assured that the Government will improve as much as possible OPG staff‘s working conditions so that they can live up to their professional standing: “This means that we have to pay greater attention to your welfare problems,” the Prime Minister stated in part.
In compliance with a presidential decree, the head of government handed “Mekhitar Gosh” medal to head of the OPG Illegal Drug Traffic Department Vardan Muradyan. RA Prime Minister’s commemorative medal was offered to Senior Public Prosecutor Koriun Piloyan and head of the OPG Financial and Managing Department Ashot Zalinyan. Several officers were encouraged with the letters of appreciation of RA Prime Minister, National Assembly Speaker, Minister of Defense, Chief of Police and National Security Service Director.
Awards were presented to some 60 staff and OPG veterans.
