The Prime Minister welcomes Radoslaw Sikorski
RA Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan received a delegation led by Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski.
Greeting the guests, the Prime Minister noticed that the Armenian-Polish relations have been on the upgrade recently. In the light of those arrangements reached with his Polish counterpart, Tigran Sargsyan assured of Armenia’s keen interest in expanding economic ties with the Republic of Poland. Highly appreciative of meetings like this, the head of government pointed to the wealth of untapped potential available in Armenian-Polish economic interaction.
Pleased with the current status of political ties, the Polish Minister stressed the need for overhauled economic cooperation.
It was noted that the European Union’s Eastern Partnership Program might add a new dimension to bilateral and multilateral cooperation between Armenia and EU-member countries. Poland’s role and valuable contribution was emphasized in this context.
The guests were briefed on vast investment opportunities available in the field of power engineering and mining industry, including the development of copper, molybdenum and basalt deposits in Armenia.
